WHAT YOU NEED
- 1 – 22 oz. NESTLÉ NESQUIK Syrup squeeze bottle
- ½ cup craft glue
- ¼ cup sand
- 2 Tbsp. poster or tempera paint
- Flexible plastic bowl (preferable a disposable one)
- Metal or plastic spoon
- Construction or other plain art paper
HOW TO DO IT
- Wash and dry an empty NESTLÉ NESQUIK Syrup squeeze bottle.
- Mix the sand and glue together in the plastic bowl.
- Stir in the paint and continue mixing until the paint, sand and glue are evenly blended.
- Pour the mixture into the bottle and replace the cap.
- Before painting, cover your work surface with newsprint and make sure your child has on old clothes or a paint smock.
- Show your child that by gently squeezing the bottle onto the construction paper, they can “paint” a beautiful picture!
TIPS- Save the squeeze bottles as you use them to use as containers for different colored sandy glue paint.
- The squeeze bottles can also be used to store different colored poster paints. Just put in the paint powder and water; replace the cap and shake until the paint is mixed.
