Make your own Peace Prize and give it to someone you know who has promoted peace or kindness towards others.

WHAT YOU NEED
1 40.7 oz. NESQUIK® Powder canister lid
Permanent markers
Hole punch
30 inch length of 1 inch wide ribbon
HOW TO DO IT
Wash and dry a NESQUIK® 40.7 oz. canister lid.
Decorate the lid with permanent colored markers.
Write the words "SMITH family Peace Prize" with decorative letters. (Insert your own family name.)
Punch a hole at the top rim of the lid.
Cut a piece of 1-inch wide ribbon to 30 inches in length and thread through the hole.
Give your peace prize to someone in your family who has done something good for someone else.
TIPS
You can make the peace prize a weekly or a monthly event, passing it around to all family members. They will feel good being recognized!
FOLLOW UP FUN
Martin Luther King was the youngest man to receive the Nobel Peace Prize when it was awarded to him in 1964.
Encourage your children to go to the library or go online to find out more about the Nobel Prizes that are awarded each year. Visit the Nobel e-museum at:
