WHAT YOU NEED

  •  For each vase: 
  • 1 empty 6.75 oz. NESTLÉ JUICY JUICE box
  • Colored construction paper
  • Colored markers or crayons
  • Safety scissors
  • Craft glue
  • Small bouquet of flowers

HOW TO DO IT

  • (Parents) Cut the top off of the NESTLÉ JUICY JUICE box. Rinse out the box and let it dry. 
  • Use the box as a pattern to outline the front, back and sides of the box onto different colored construction paper. 
  • Have your child decorate and write special messages to his or her grandparents on each outlined piece of construction paper. For example: #1 Grandpa, I LOVE YOU. 
  • Cut out the outlined rectangles and glue them to the front, back and sides of the juice box. 
  • Go to the flower store or to your garden and let your child help pick out the small bouquets for each vase. 
  • Arrange the flowers with a small amount of water. 
  • If possible, arrange to have your child deliver this special vase in person to wish them Happy Grandparents Day!

TIPS

  • If you have grandparents that live far away, you can add dried flowers to the vase.  
  • Wrap the vase and flowers together in bubble wrap. Then place them into a brown packing box for shipping in time for Grandparents Day.
